The motorway connecting the Albanian cities of Tirana and Elbasan has brought the issue of environmental noise pollution to the agenda in recent years with the increasing traffic density. In order to prevent this problem, modern noise barriers were built along the motorway route. The project was directed by the experienced Uğur Çalışkol.
